January 2025 Newsletter
January has been a quiet month for the Lyons Legacy team. Josh and Jana spent a week in North Dakota working with new L2-Intermediate Professional Horseman Program graduates Katie Oakland and Lori Nelson. Congratulations to these ladies for earning this certification and joining the team of Lyons Legacy Trainers! Both Katie and Lori work at Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College located in New Town, ND. In addition, Katie also operates TR 4 Heart & Soul, a 501 c3 non-profit corporation, seeking to improve the quality of life for individuals through the heart and soul of a horse & culturally rich programming. Lori completed the Certification Program last year and now holds both Lyons Legacy certifications. These are some amazing ladies and I’m sure we will see them doing amazing work with their new skills!
We also had the pleasure of hosting a 3-Day Riding clinic this past weekend at Chaparosa Ranch. We had a small group creating a very intimate environment where all their personal questions and goals could be addressed. We saw some firsts, created new friendships, and had an overall fabulous time! Next week starts our 5-Day Intensive Horse Training Workshop, also at Chaparosa Ranch. We have room for more riders – jump on this opportunity to achieve your goals!
Lyons Legacy is proud to be a charter member of the Christian Horse Show Association. CHSA is a community of believers that are passionate about Jesus and horses!
